Mark your calendar! We're inviting Northwestern faculty, staff, and students to our springtime open houses at the Northwestern University Sailing Center (NUSC)! Enjoy an afternoon of sun and lakefront fun while discovering everything the Sailing Center has to offer. Whether you're a water sports enthusiast or simply curious, this is your chance to explore, ask questions, and experience NUSC.

• FACULTY & STAFF DAY — Tuesday, May 26 | 3–7 p.m. 

• NORTHWESTERN STUDENT DAY — Tuesday, June 2 | 3–7 p.m. 

Both open houses are free. Available to Northwestern faculty, staff, and students only.

Each open house includes: 

• Q&A with our knowledgeable staff 

• Facility tours 

• Water asset demonstrations 

• Complimentary 30-minute kayak and stand-up paddleboard (SUP) rentals (first-come, first-served) 

• Giveaways (while supplies last)

Signing Our Liability Waiver  

1. Visit the Northwestern Recreation portal and select Sign In in the top right corner. 


2. Select NU NetID Login and use your NetID and password to log in. 


3. Thoroughly review the updated waiver. 


4. Click or tap the gray box at the end of the waiver to sign. 


5. Select Accept Now. 

*Only those who have not previously accepted our waiver will be prompted. If you have already signed, no action is needed.*
