Employee Membership


ELIGIBILITY

Faculty & Staff
Current full-time regular employee or part-time regular employee working 18 or more hours for Northwestern University. Must have valid Northwestern University WildCARD faculty or staff identification card.

Adjunct Faculty
Must have a valid Northwestern University WildCARD faculty identification card or a letter proving adjunct status from the department's dean or Chairman.

Emeriti / Retiree
Must have a valid Northwestern University WildCARD emeriti/retiree identification card.

Visiting Scholar
Professors from other universities who come to Northwestern to teach or do research must have a valid Northwestern University WildCARD visiting professors identification card.

Garrett Theological Seminary Faculty and Staff
Garrett faculty and staff are eligible to purchase a membership at the faculty/staff rate. They must show their Garrett faculty/staff identification card.


MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
Membership includes access to the Henry Crown Sports Pavilion, Norris Aquatics Center, Blomquist Recreation Center, all Group Exercise classes, and discounts for many Northwestern Recreation services and classes.

*A one-time $100 registration fee applies to all households.*

*The child rate is only valid if a parent is a member of the facility. Children must be at least 16 years of age to use the facility without being accompanied by an adult member.

PURCHASING A MEMBERSHIP

To purchase an ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP, please complete the following steps:
  1. Log in to the Northwestern Recreation portal (recreation.northwestern.edu) using your NetID and password. 

  2. Add a credit card to your account.

    • Click the profile icon in the right-hand corner and select Profile.

    • On the left-hand side, select Payment Option and select Add New Card under Manage Payment Options.

  3. To enroll in-person, visit our Membership Office during office hours, or contact our membership team via email (recreation@northwestern.edu) or phone (847-491-4303).

  4. Review and understand our Membership terms and conditions.

To purchase a MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP, please complete the following steps:
  1. Log in to the Northwestern Recreation portal (recreation.northwestern.edu) using your NetID and password. 

  2. Add a credit card to your account.

    • Click the profile icon in the right-hand corner and select Profile.

    • On the left-hand side, select Payment Option and select Add New Card under Manage Payment Options.

  3. Complete our Monthly Billing Agreement form.

  4. Submit your completed agreement in-person to Membership Office during office hours. Or email it to recreation@northwestern.edu (forms must be submitted as a PDF file).

    • If submitted via email, a member of the Membership Office staff will contact you once received.

  5. Review and understand our Membership terms and conditions.
