CPR / AED CERTIFICATION
The American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED program helps participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac and breathing emergencies. This introductory, hands-on course teaches skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. This class is taught in a blended learning format, and the online portion must be completed before attending the Instructor-led skills session.
A valid two-year digital certificate for Adult CPR/AED is issued upon successful completion. The CPR course meets in the Henry Crown Sports Pavilion classroom (room #1310, located on the first floor across from the elevators). Participants should wear comfortable clothing because they will spend a lot of time in the class kneeling on the floor and working with the manikins.
