Policies | Basketball & MAC Courts

  • Basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, futsal, indoor soccer, and badminton are acceptable activities; other sports are subject to approval.

  • All activities other than those listed above must have prior approval from the Northwestern Recreation Department staff. 

  • Do not apply tape or other markings to the floor surface.

  • Grabbing and hanging on basketball rims and nets is not permitted 

  • The throwing or kicking of basketballs or other equipment toward the ceiling, walls, or track level is not permitted. Violators will be asked to leave the facility immediately and will be billed for damages.

  • Spectators are not allowed to observe from the track level.

  • Don't leave personal items unattended. Lockboxes are available. The Northwestern Recreation Department is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • All equipment must be returned 10 minutes prior to close.

  • The Northwestern Recreation Department reserves the right to end any activity deemed unsafe.
