CHICAGO STARS GAME DAY IMPACTS
The Northwestern community is thrilled to welcome the
Chicago Stars FC to Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium for their 2026 season. In preparation, we are coordinating our operations to ensure that the Henry Crown Sports Pavilion remains open and available to Northwestern students and recreation members during home games. However, while our doors will remain open, certain game day operations will be in place that may impact access to our facility and parking.
For each home game, parking restrictions will go into effect three (3) hours before game time and continue until one (1) hour after the game concludes. Vehicles attempting to access Campus Drive at Lincoln and Sheridan will need to present a game day parking QR code to proceed to the North Garage entrance. Recreation members will be provided a QR code to access the North Garage on game days only. The QR code is only valid for individuals with an active recreation membership at the time of use
. Further information is provided below. Additionally, vehicle access to the front of Henry Crown will not be available, as traffic will not be permitted past the North Garage entrance/exit driveway. Parking restriction start times are listed below. Heavy traffic and longer wait times are anticipated, so please plan accordingly.
Further information regarding parking and other operational modifications is provided in the sections below. We encourage you to review all information thoroughly. We will continue to provide updates throughout the season as needed.

NORTH GARAGE ACCESS
Northwestern students and recreation members wishing to access the North Garage during restricted parking periods will need to present a QR code at the garage entrance. We highly recommend checking your email ahead of each game, as QR codes will be provided via email to active recreation members. Please note that QR codes are only valid on game days and will not provide garage access on non-game days.
Â
QR codes must be presented on a mobile device, as printed codes cannot be scanned. Please ensure your screen brightness is turned up so the code can be properly scanned by event staff.
Â
Please note that while members will have access to the North Garage, this does not guarantee or reserve a parking space. We again recommend planning ahead and arriving early.
