Community Membership


ELIGIBILITY

Alumni, University affiliates, including contract employees of Northwestern, and community members with no affiliation to the University may purchase a membership.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
Membership includes access to the Henry Crown Sports Pavilion, Norris Aquatics Center, Blomquist Recreation Center, all Group Exercise classes, and discounts for many Northwestern Recreation services and classes.

*A one-time $100 registration fee applies to all households.*

*The child rate is only valid if a parent is a member of the facility. Children must be at least 16 years of age to use the facility without being accompanied by an adult member.

PURCHASING A MEMBERSHIP

To purchase an ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP, please complete the following steps:
  1. Create an online account at recreation.northwestern.edu (not required for Northwestern faculty, staff, students, and scholars).

    • Northwestern faculty, staff, students, and scholars should login using their NetID and password.

  2. Add a credit card to your account.

    • Click the profile icon in the right-hand corner and select Profile.

    • On the left-hand side, select Payment Option and select Add New Card under Manage Payment Options.

  3. To enroll in-person, visit our Membership Office during office hours, or contact our membership team via email (recreation@northwestern.edu) or phone (847-491-4303).

  4. Review and understand our Membership terms and conditions.

To purchase a MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP, please complete the following steps:
  1. Create an online account at recreation.northwestern.edu (not required for Northwestern faculty, staff, students, and scholars).

    • Northwestern faculty, staff, students, and scholars should login using their NetID and password.

  2. Add a credit card to your account.

    • Click the profile icon in the right-hand corner and select Profile.

    • On the left-hand side, select Payment Option and select Add New Card under Manage Payment Options.

  3. Complete our Monthly Billing Agreement form.

  4. Submit your completed agreement in-person to Membership Office during office hours. Or email it to recreation@northwestern.edu (forms must be submitted as a PDF file).

    • If submitted via email, a member of the Membership Office staff will contact you once received.

  5. Review and understand our Membership terms and conditions.
